The Chippewa CO. Fair Board will approve or deny all requests at the regular monthly meeting, or if during fair week, at the morning meetings, with each applicatant being notified with the final decision. If approval is granted, you may pick-up your permit at the Livestock Office after the first Saturday of the fair.
Permits MUST be attached to the cart while on the fairgrounds.
Rules:
1. Motorized carts will only be used on designated routes.
2. All carts on the faurgrounds shall require an Official Chippewa Co. Fair Permit
3. Carts are NOT allowed in the walkways, in front of the Quonset Hut or in the Midway areas.
4. Drivers MUST be at lewast 16 years if age wuth a valid driver's license, with there name on the permit.
5. The permit MUST be displayed on the cart and be visible
6. The person assigned to the permit MUST be present in the cart at all times when being used and no more passengers than seating allows. There shall be NO people hanging off the cart at any time.
7. A map will be given with each permit, showing the routes allowed to be used with your cart during the fair week. Carts are only allowed on these routes.
8. Any violation of these guidelines may result in towing and impounding fees. If found in violation of any of the rules, you WILL NOT be allowed to have a cart on the grounds during future Chippewa Co. Fairs.
